You're Not Alone - Support Is Available
We all experience challenges with our mental health from time to time. Whether you're feeling stressed, anxious, overwhelmed, low in mood, or struggling to cope with day-to-day life, support is available through your GP practice.
Warrington Central East Primary Care Network works in partnership with Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust to provide access to Mental Health Practitioners within our GP practices. By working closely with your GP and practice team, they can help you get the right support at the right time.
How We Can Help
Our Mental Health Practitioners can:
- Talk through any concerns that may be affecting your mental wellbeing
- Offer practical advice, support and guidance
- Help you understand the support and treatment options available
- Connect you with specialist mental health services when needed
- Signpost you to local wellbeing, community and support services
Accessing the Service
If you're finding things difficult or have concerns about your mental health, please contact your GP practice. A member of the team can discuss your needs and, where appropriate, arrange for you to speak with a Mental Health Practitioner.
You don't have to face things alone. Reaching out for support is an important first step, and help is available.
